Dr. Melissa D. Porter, a General Dentist, was born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in English. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in 2017. She continued her Post-Doctoral Studies at Meharry Medical College General Practice Residency Program, where she served as the Chief Resident. Dr. Porter has spent the last four years serving underprivileged populations in the Public Health arena.

Dr. Porter enjoys spending quality time with her son, Jayden, dog, Zero, family and close friends, exploring new restaurants and hunting for unique finds. She has a special interest in promotion of preventative care, Pediatric dentistry and Oral Surgery. Dr. Porter is honored to be joining the Marquee family and looks forward to providing superior dental care to the Hendersonville community.
