Dr. Brian Howell is excited to bring his passion for dentistry and patient-centered care to the Embassy Dental family. After spending the past eight years owning and operating a successful dental practice in Edmond, Oklahoma, Dr. Howell and his family are thrilled to begin their next chapter in Middle Tennessee. With deep Southern roots and a love for the hospitality and sense of community that make this part of the country special, he looks forward to building lasting relationships with his new patients and neighbors.
Dr. Howell earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, following an MBA from Oklahoma State University and an undergraduate degree in chemistry from Missouri University of Science and Technology, where he competed as a collegiate swimmer on an athletic scholarship. During dental school, he was honored with the J. Dean Robertson Scholarship, recognizing his commitment to integrity and professionalism.
With a passion for comprehensive family and cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Howell enjoys combining modern dental technology with a personalized, comfortable approach to patient care. His clinical interests include same-day crowns, cosmetic restorations, dental implants, clear aligner therapy, and helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. He has pursued extensive continuing education throughout his career, including a 102-hour implant dentistry mini-residency at the University of Oklahoma. He believes that staying current with advancements in dentistry allows him to provide patients with more efficient, comfortable, and predictable treatment options.
Above all, Dr. Howell values the relationships he builds with his patients. Having spent years caring for families in his own practice, he understands the importance of listening, earning trust, and helping each patient feel confident in their dental care.
Outside the office, Dr. Howell enjoys spending time with his wife, Michelle, and their two sons, Silas and Benjamin. As a family, they love traveling, spending time outdoors, relaxing by the pool, and exploring new restaurants and local attractions. They're especially excited to experience everything Middle Tennessee has to offer and to make it their family's home for years to come.
