Dr. Sarah Pasch
Dr. Sarah Pasch grew up in a small town in central Michigan. After graduating from Michigan State University with a degree in Human Biology (With Honors), she moved to Boston, MA, to attend Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she was a recipient of a competitive military scholarship called the Health Professions Scholarship Program. Upon graduation from Tufts in 2013, Dr. Pasch began her 5-year career in the US Navy as a Dental Officer. Dr. Pasch served as a dentist serving US Sailors and Marines at two boot camps (Parris Island Marine Corps Recruit Depot in Beaufort, SC; and Great Lakes Naval Station in North Chicago, IL) and as the sole dentist embarked upon the war ship USS SAN ANTONIO (LPD-17) based out of Norfolk, VA, where she provided dental care and trained in combat medical care for the crew of 1,200 Sailors and Marines. After being Honorably Discharged from the Navy in 2018, Dr. Pasch moved to Nashville to begin her civilian career.
During her training at Tufts, Dr. Pasch completed a rotation at a clinic that treated patients with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities and developed a passion for working with this population. This inspired her to work extensively in treating patients with special needs. She has also worked at private practices across the area, has volunteered at free dental days, and was chosen by the state Dental Director to serve as a member of the State of Tennessee’s Peer Review Committee. Dr. Pasch’s favorite parts of dentistry are helping patients overcome their fear of the dental setting, grow in their dental knowledge, achieve dental health by eliminating diseases that cause pain, and helping patients to regain daily function and quality of life. She enjoys fostering relationships with her patients after gaining their trust and helping them to achieve their dental goals and appreciates that dentistry can allow for lifelong relationships with one’s patients.
In her spare time, Dr. Pasch enjoys traveling, attending concerts, planning her wedding, and spending time with her fiance Colby and their two cats.
